why bother?

the more you care, the more you understand how helpless you are.
the more you do, the less you receive.
the more you study, the less you remember,
and the more you forget, the less you know.
the more connected you are, the more insignificant you feel.
the more you earn, the more you pay.
the more you try, the more you fail.
the more honest you are, chances are you'll be exploited by others.
the more you remember, the more you cringe.
the more you work, the less you get appreciated.
the more you talk, the more people will hate you.
the more you walk, the more you find yourself wandering aimlessly.
the more you dream, the more depressed you'll get.
the more you pray, the more you condemn god for letting things happen to you.
the more you accept, the more people will reject you.
the more you understand, the less you know.
the more you eat, the fatter you get.
the more you breathe, the faster you die from swine flu and god-knows-what.
the more you laugh, the harder you'll cry.
the higher you go, the harder you'll fall.
the more you go on the ranking ladder, the more work you have to do.
the more you love, the more you get hurt.
and if life is all about hard work, friendship, love, happiness, beauty, and piety, then why is there still injustice in the world?

so

why bother?

  1. 1)if it is true that the more you laugh, the harder you cry, then is it better not to laugh (and therefore not to cry?)

2)is the reverse also true? eg if, the more you laugh the harder you cry, then is it also true that, the harder you cry now, the more you'll laugh one day?

  2. But the more you care, the more people feel cared for

The more you do, the more people receive from you

The more you study, the more you can help people with study

The more you forget, the less you hold grudges

...And the more you love, the more love there is in a hateful world
